PT Marga Nusantara Jaya, an official distributor of PT Konimex since September 28, 1985, was initially formed in response to a government decision on March 8, 1980, requiring separation of production and distribution entities. PT Konimex created PT Sinar Intermark, which distributed Konimex products across Indonesia and expanded into candy and food under brands like Nimm’s and Sobisco. To further extend its reach, PT Marga Nusantara Jaya was acquired in 1985 and began operations in 1986, focusing on non-pharmaceutical products while PT Sinar Intermark handled pharmaceuticals. After restructuring in 2007, PT Marga Nusantara Jaya covered Western Indonesia, while PT Sinar Intermark managed Eastern Indonesia until 2013, when Marga Nusantara Jaya took over all distribution. By 2019, the company achieved CDOB certification and expanded as a multi-principle distributor, covering healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and food products nationally.
